The Police visit Westbrook Hay!

Last week the Police came to visit Reception. A Detective Sergeant told us all about the job he does and showed us some of the equipment he has to use. He had also arranged for us to talk over the radio to different departments. We spoke to the pilot of the Police helicopter; a mounted Policeman and a Policeman who was watching a robber!!

We also had a trip in an unmarked Police car, with the flashing lights and the sirens going; sorry Mr. Young!!

In the afternoon, P.C. Haines and his Police dog Chief, and P.C. Keohane came to show us the work of the dog section. Chief found lost/hidden items and then found P.C. Keohane, who was pretending to be a burglar.

Miss. Wilson pressed the red button in the dog car and set off sirens and the flashing lights!!!! Naughty Miss. Wilson!! Sorry Mr. Young!!
