In the first week of the Easter holidays, 70 pupils and 9 staff enjoyed a cracking ski trip to La Thuile, Italy. The pupils were placed in 11 ability-based groups - from beginners to advanced - and they took part in 5 hours of skiing each day led by their English-speaking instructors. Lessons were bookended by meals at the mountain restaurants. Breakfast was always a range of cereals, croissants, fruit and juices with evening meals including pizza night, chicken and chips and plenty of pasta and ice cream!
We enjoyed our time off the slopes too. Apres-ski activities included visiting the world-renowned shop, Chocolat (you can see more at https://www.chocolat-collomb.it/index_eng.html, a relaxing swim in the indoor pool, bum boarding on the slopes, pre-bedtime story time and plenty of shopping time! The pupils finished the week with their presentation evening after the instructors had assessed them at the end of the week.
Lots of fun was had and we look forward to the next trip in 2026!
