Meet Our Head Boy - Luke Armstrong

When did you join Westbrook Hay?

I joined Westbrook Hay in Swallows when I was about 4 years old.

How would you describe your time here so far?

I have had a very good time at Westbrook Hay, the students and teachers are very nice to everyone and all the activities that we get to do are awesome!

What do you enjoy about being Head Boy?

I don’t really know yet but I do know it is a great honour to have been chosen.

What are your aspirations for the future?

I would quite like to do something with dogs as I love them a lot or maybe a pilot, I’m not really sure yet.

How has Westbrook Hay brought you closer to this?

Westbrook Hay has helped me develop my abilities to think quickly and make correct decisions. It has also helped me make new friends and be able to communicate and work in groups.

What has been your favourite Westbrook Hay moment so far?

My favourite moment has probably been the Year 7 Welsh trip. We stayed in a hotel and got to play Manhunt on the beach in the pitch black (with torches of course!).

Where do you hope to go to school after Westbrook Hay?

I passed my 11+ and two external entrance exams that I sat at Berkhamsted School and St. Columba’s College. I was awarded scholarships to both but have chosen to go to St. Columba’s College.
