Girls' Bushcraft Experience

Madame Soulie and Andy Lloyd took our Year 5 and Year 6 girls to Cornbury Park in Oxfordshire for their Bushcraft experience - another successful trip.

The weather was kind and the girls fantastic on another wonderful school outing to the woods. There was a little trepidation as we left Westbrook Hay, but this soon disappeared as the girls got into the swing of “surviving” in camp.

The was a whole host of activities including swimming, knife skills, shelter building and, my personal favourite, fire building. The food was particularly scrummy this year, with the highlight being the pannassed salmon (Mme Souliè quickly learning the skill, and completing the second salmon in record time). All in all a great trip and one I will look forward to taking next year.
