Congratulations to Solomon in Year 6 who was selected to represent Chelsea FC U12 in the National Truce tournament in St George's Park. The team won the tournament, beating Arsenal 2-0 in a very close game in the final. Solomon is an outstanding goal keeper and will have clearly contributed to the success on the day. The Truce Tournament brings together the country's best young players on and off the pitch, as they learn about the sacrifices made by soldiers in the First World War and how they put down their weapons to exchange gifts and play football on the battlefields on Christmas Day 1914.
