I love teaching at Westbrook Hay because the school develops the whole child and encourages them to excel in any area they are passionate about. The sporting opportunities at Westbrook Hay personally excite me the most because sport has always been a large part of my life. I initially started out my career by studying Sports Performance at The University of Bath, where I specialised in pole vaulting! Later, in 2013 though, I re-trained as a teacher, where I specialised in PE. Since then, I have taught in London based schools where I have been the PE Co-ordinator, teaching PE across the whole school, as well as classroom teaching in KS1. In my previous school though, I was the PSHE and well-being lead, where I focussed on classroom teaching in Years 5 and 6.
In my free time, you will find me on a tennis court, golf course or road cycling! I also enjoy socialising with friends and family as well as babysitting my niece.
