Admissions Process

We would be delighted to show you more of Westbrook Hay. Please do come along to one of our Open Mornings or make an appointment, meet the Headmaster and discuss why Westbrook Hay is the best school for your child.

Once you have decided Westbrook Hay is the right school, return the registration documentation and fee to secure a place for your child, dependent on the availability of places.

If your child is moving from another school we always encourage parents to seek the advice of their current school first. We also invite your child to visit us for a day to enable them to see the school in action and for the school to assess your child in context. Following this visit, we will contact you to discuss offering your child a place.

Availability of Places

Nursery

Places in our nursery for 3 year olds are limited but we would recommend that you complete a registration form and we will invite your child to attend the taster session for two hours in our Nursery. A formal offer of a place will follow.

For children who are currently 2, and turning 3 next year, we also have some availability.

Reception 2025

If you are interested in your child joining our Reception class in September 2025 please book a visit to view the school either at our Open Morning or organise an individual visit. Assessments will be held during September and October 2024 with offers of places by October 18, 2024.

Year 7 - September 2025

For families who are interested in their children joining Westbrook Hay in Year 7 in September 2025, we encourage you to visit the school at our Open Morning on September 28, 2024. Registrations should be completed and returned by Friday, October 18. We will host a taster day in November for children who are registered. This is an opportunity for the children to experience a day at Westbrook Hay. They will have an allocated guide for the day and will take part in a range of activities and lessons, this will also include an academic assessment (CAT4) and an opportunity to meet with the Headmaster.

Parents will receive feedback on their child’s day and we anticipate being able to make offers of places shortly after the assessment day.

If you would like your child to attend, please complete the online registration form on the website and return this with a copy of their most recent school report.

Year 9 - September 2025

For families who are interested in their children joining Westbrook Hay in Year 9 in September 2025, please complete the online registration form and return this with a copy of your child's most recent school report.
