Judy’s whole career has been immersed in education - as a teacher, headmistress, and governor.
She qualified at Homerton College, Cambridge, and first taught disadvantaged children before moving into the prep school world.
She has been a teacher, deputy head, and head of different pre-preps before becoming a prep school head first at Upton House in Windsor and then at Chandlings School in Oxford.
She has run the IAPS Conference for new heads and been a governor on the board of several prep schools.
Now retired she is still passionate about education and believes that prep schools should be happy, stimulating and fun-filled years.
She has three grandchildren who have all loved their time at Westbrook Hay and looks forward to playing a part in such a vibrant school herself.
