House Strategy Games

House Strategy Games

Strategy Games after school activity has become a firm favourite amongst our children. It is not a surprise therefore that it has become a new event in the House competition calendar. Today's House Strategy Games saw all four Houses using the Dungeons and Dragons game rules to solve puzzles, avoid traps and battle monsters. Working in groups of four, children from years 3 to 7 raced their characters against the clock to cross the finish line and score the highest points. Points were also awarded for defeating foes, healing allies, showing excellent strategy and communication skills, and even for Maths for adding up all of the dice totals.

Taking part for Dragon were Edward, Sophie, Tristan and Samuel. Wyvern was represented by Mimi, Zane, Cooper, Rohan, Griffin by Abigail, James, Cecily, Arjunan and Phoenix by Quinlan, John, Amos, and Nikhil.

The children said that strategy games are really challenging but so much fun.

The winning house by some margin was Phoenix. Well done to the winning team and all those that made it a great competition and thank you Mr Martin for organising our first House strategy games competition.
