Today has been our big charity day, with book donations, a raffle for treats, cake sale and soak the teacher all outside in the glorious sunshine. The children were excited to win treats such as a teacher cleaning their muddy boots, taking the guinea pigs home for the weekend and the headmaster serving them lunch, but they did also learn what they were doing this for. Together we have worn our red noses with pride.
The children have really got behind the book donations for the Children’s Book Project @Lonbookproject, there are so many books already to go. We thank you for your support, the cakes were incredible and enjoyed by all.
The proceeds from the day's activities went to the Unicef Ukraine project and Red Nose Day.
