For the last day of term all our children enjoyed Christmas fun and games around the school. The children were able to wear their Christmas jumpers for a donation of a £1 for our charity Dens.
The Prep children rotated from one activity to another collecting points for their houses. There was a mixture of sporting challenges, fun quizzes and fairground games – Basketball, Who’s In The Bag?, ‘Cyber Hunt’, Computer Game, Ping Pong Beakers, ‘Nerf Gun Shooting’, Quoits, Golf, Antler Hat Ring Toss, Castle, Darts, Skittles and Target Wall! The competitive spirit was clearly evident between Griffin, Wyvern, Dragon and Phoenix with Dragon topping of the score board.
Our Pre-Prep children also had a wonderful day with lots of fun activities. Each group had a disco with party games including Christmas crafts, making hats and icing biscuits. Mr Brain came to award certificates at our celebration assembly and sadly, we said goodbye to our GAPs.
The staff also served the children the most delicious Christmas lunch including the favourite Yule log.
The children have worked extremely hard this term and they certainly have deserved a Christmas jumper day of Christmas fun.
