Year 1 had an exciting visit to the Science lab where they got to meet lots of interesting creatures! As part of our topic, ‘Animals including humans’, the Year 1 children learnt about classifying animals into different groups and comparing animals. They worked hard together as groups and were able to identity mammals, reptiles, amphibians, birds, fish and insects. After they had completed their tasks, they were greeted by all kinds of animals from cockroaches to chickens! The children cannot wait to visit again!
