Nature Ramble

With perfect weather conditions on Tuesday 21st of May, a group of Year 3 and 4 children enjoyed a lovely evening exploring the WBH grounds, looking for a variety of living organisms. Using suction pooters in the Dark Woods, we managed to trap lots of woodlice, slugs, spiders and an impressive amount of beetles, mostly (according to Olly at least) called Jeff!

After the minibeast hunt and a quick break for a snack, we scoured the inner gardens using a Scavenger Hunt list. Everyone managed to find pinecones and feathers, but conkers and rabbit fur were nowhere to be found!

With all of our scavenged items, we did a final activity and arranged the objects into some lovely works of art!
