Our youngest school members bravely took centre stage for poetry readings. There were some beautiful performances, and we’re incredibly proud of their confidence at such a young age. From Nursery to Year 2, 46 children shared their poems with the audience: 15 from Nursery, 23 from Reception classes, and 8 KS1 finalists. Those who wished to participate started with performances in front of their classroom peers, impressing everyone with their courage and clarity. Pre-Prep enjoyed the recitation final, where those in the EYFS who wanted to perform did so before our Key Stage One finalists took the stage. Watching them stand up with confidence, each reciting their chosen poems with enthusiasm and poise, was truly heartwarming
