Our Pre Prep has ended the half term with a Wild & Wonderful day, coinciding with our charity non-uniform day many of the children dressed up for the occasion!
The visit from Ranger Lily & the Zoolab animals introduced Charlotte the spider, John the cockroach and Olaf the snake as well as others to all of our Pre Prep children to a mixed reception!
Not only was the visit a cross-curricular event where the children participated in different themed activities such as Big Art (creating a Pre-Prep peacock using handprints), drama through storytelling, and creating bird cakes and butterfly feeders alongside designing bug sculptures in the woods. The day bought together the topics the children had been working on from mini beasts, and people that help to trips to Whipsnade Zoo.
A lovely way to spend the last day of half term, thank you to our new friend Ranger Lily and the ZooLab animals… and all of our own Westbrook children who had a wonderfully wild time.
