The Cricketer magazine, has just announced that Westbrook Hay has, for the fourth year running, been awarded the coveted accolade of being one of the top 50 Prep Schools in the country. The guide will be published in the December issue of the magazine.
All entries were judged against an extensive set of criteria, which included a compelling commitment to cricket in the curriculum, facilities, fixture programmes and coaching. Also taken into account was how schools kept the game alive during the pandemic, and how they look to ensure cricket remains a central part of school life.
Director or Sport, Stuart Stedman commented that “There is a passion for cricket at Westbrook Hay. Our girls and boys play competitive fixtures from Year 3 and we take part in, and are often the winners of, regional and county tournaments. We are delighted to have been recognised for this by the Cricketer Magazine.”
