Our children have achieved some excellent successes at the Watford Festival. Sophie did very well winning the cup for Grade 4 Piano and Meredith won the cup for the Year 5 & 6 Songs from Musicals. Jemima, Harriet and Tabitha won gold (1st place) in their classes for Acting, ‘Age 10 & under Singing’ and ‘Age 7 and under Singing’ respectively.
In Wind Instruments and Singing our children won a cluster of silver and bronze medals.
The Watford Festival was established over 70 years ago and has grown from strength to strength to become one of the largest and most respected in the UK. It aims to encourage people of all ages to perform in the areas of Music, Speech and Drama.
