Year 2 enjoyed a fantastical trip to the Roald Dahl Museum in Great Missenden bringing to life the Roald Dahl topic that they are currently working on.
The adventure started with the exciting mini-bus journey with Mrs French, Miss Brenan, Mrs Alexander, Mr Carey, Mr Mackie and Archie. We split into two groups during the trip with the first group exploring Great Missenden, looking for things which Roald Dahl used in his books and the children also visited his grave. The second group explored the museum and was thrilled to design their own Roald Dahl characters. They also learnt what inspired Roald Dahl for his stories.
The children were immaculately behaved and were particularly grateful to Chef Neil for providing a delicious packed lunch!
