On a lovely autumn afternoon six of our Year 8 pupils competed in the District Cross Country Championships, at Abbot’s Hill school. The boys had to complete an extremely hilly three kilometres in their race. I was proud of the effort every pupil displayed on the day, which lead to the school coming 2nd in the team competition. The first four pupils counted in our team position for the school. The positions were:- Archie F (4), Josh M (5), James R (15) and Alex K (23). A special mention for Thomas W and Harry T who performed to their maximum for the school.
