Nursery enjoy Mead Open Farm

In true British spirit, Nursery soldiered on with their trip to Mead Open Farm, despite the extremely wet and windy weather. Great fun was had by all, with goats hand-fed, bunnies cuddled, a tractor ride bounced along, and rather vigorous, hungry lambs bottle-fed. A good romp was had outdoors in one of the earlier breaks in the weather and it was wonderful to see children climbing and being adventurous on the play structures, swings and go-karts. Later in the afternoon, we were pleased to be able to enjoy the relatively empty indoor play areas, including the drop slides, with the confidence and speed many children whizzed down slides and around the various apparatus being nifty to say the least!
