We were thrilled to host the U11 Girls' IAPs regional football tournament on Monday where we welcomed 11 prep schools for an exciting afternoon of fixtures.
The schools were split into two pools with each school playing 5 group games. The top four teams in each pool progressed to the cup and the rest of the group moved into the plate competition.
Westbrook played some fantastic football and progressed to the Cup side of the competition after finishing 2nd in their group. They went on to play Brentwood in the quarter finals where Isobel G scored the winning penalty in extra time. They then met St George's Weybridge in the semi-finals where a deflected shot in extra time meant Westbrook would not progress to the final. The girls finished 4th overall, an outstanding effort from the team.
Miss Starr could not be prouder of this group, their hard work, dedication and determination has been evident all term and they should be so proud of the progress they have made!
We look forward to hosting many more exciting events in the year.
