Another great set of girls and another fantastic camping trip; it is easily one of the highlights of the year for me! The positive attitude displayed by the Year 6 girls meant that the Year 5s were relaxed and happy as we left Westbrook and headed deep into the Hertfordshire woods for our adventure. The Bushcraft Company have provided a well thought out and unique experience for our girls over the years and this trip surpassed expectations. In fact there were two firsts this year; all the girls slept under shelters they had built both nights and Molly W managed to eat a rather large salmon eyeball. It is as gruesome as it sounds! The weather was kind and we enjoyed sunshine to play our games. Next year is booked and I look forward to watching another set of girls enjoy the wilderness experience; growing and learning as they do.
