Westbrook Hay hosts the Spring 2024 XC Meet!
11 schools and 200 children from Years 3 to 8 took part in a Cross Country meet at Westbrook Hay. The course was 1.6km, 2km and 2.6km depending on which age group was racing covering the grounds and Boxmoor Trust land. After the heavy rain of the last few months, the ground was saturated making a run hard work. One pupil ran the race with one shoe having lost the other in thick mud. Well done to all those who took part. The U11 Girls & U11 Boys teams from Westbrook Hay won their events with Jacob winning the U9 boys’ race. Emily & Nathaniel also finished in medal-winning positions!
