On Monday 11th November three of our Year 7 boys plus Oliver M from Year 6 competed in the District Cross Country Championships. It was a bitterly cold afternoon and the boys were very nervous on our arrival. They had nothing to worry about though as they all performed magnificently! Oliver M finished in 1st place, running against the year above. He took a very early lead which he extended as the race went on. Oliver B-M finished roughly 50m behind him in 2nd place. Malachi and Harry finished in 4th and 9th, making up a number of places in the last 500m, meaning that all of our runners finished in the top 10. This resulted in us winning the team competition and bringing the shield back to Westbrook Hay! Well done boys, you should be very proud of your efforts and achievement!
