Westbrook Hay Prep School celebrated another football triumph as the U11 Team clinched victory at the IAPS National Finals held at Millfield Prep on Sunday.
While our U13 team have claimed the championship multiple times, the U11s secured their first win in the competition, since it was started two years ago. Led by captain Albi F, the team showed great maturity while also showcasing some excellent football skills.
The squad, featuring Albi, Louie, Teddy, Nathaniel, Albie-J, Zachary, Donny, and Taylen (playing up a year), demonstrated exceptional teamwork and resilience throughout the day. They scored 15 goals on their journey to the final while conceding only 1. The boys emerged victorious from the final against The Beacon, with Nathaniel’s goal securing a 1-0 victory and earning them the title of National Champions!
