Alexander Kalverboer (aged 12), a pupil in Year 8, swam in the IAPS National Swimming Finals at the Olympic Aquatics Centre on Saturday 8th June. Only the fastest 20 children in each stroke were invited to attend the finals, and Alexander achieved a personal best 33.92 in his 50m back stroke race, coming 13th in the country.
