I was born in the UK, but I have lived most my life in Botswana. From the age of 10, I was sent to a UK boarding school, and I completed my studies with a BEd Science. After my degree, I returned to Maun, the gateway to the Okavango Delta, to train chefs and open a restaurant. After the birth of my son, I returned to the Capitol, Gaborone, and joined the Primary School that I attended from the age of 5. After teaching the PYP curriculum for 3 years, I took on the role of Science and Social Studies coordinator, running the curriculum for both. I left Botswana in September 2022, returning to this green and pleasant land.
I was delighted to be offered the role as Head of Science at Westbrook Hay, and I am looking forward to teaching in such a wonderful environment.
