The Middle School children have been working hard for most of the term on this year's Christmas Term production, Porridge! The children aged between 6 and 9 have put huge effort into learning their lines and getting all their songs and dances just right. It's down to Private Detective Jack Spratt (Jack) to uncover the terrifying truth in this tale of mystery, mayhem and breakfast cereal! Jack, Goldie Lox (Lexi) and a cast of crazy characters including barmy billy goats, loopy lumberjacks, a potty police squad and a runaway cow all join in the hunt.
“We are immensely proud of the 129 children who worked so hard to put on 2 spectacular performances in front of the whole school and then to their parents. They have developed both their talent and their confidence over the term and managed to deliver a hugely successful comedy.” Commented Charlotte Doyle and David Martin who were the joint directors and Year 4 teachers.
